Open Positions

Solar Consultant

We are currently looking for driven, energetic, and sales-minded individuals to assist in the growth of our solar division and expand on an already proven brand. If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity, then we strongly encourage you to apply for this position.
 
Responsibilities
  • Set appointments with potential customers via both company given and self-generated leads.
  • Conduct in-home sales presentations with potential clients.
  • Meet monthly sales goals as set by leadership.
  • Utilize effective self-generation and referral sales strategies.
  • Provide a high-level customer experience by delivering an informative and knowledgeable sales presentation that will build productive, long lasting relationships and steady referral network
  • Design customized solar proposals using our solar proposal software.
  • Execute contract signing and secure financing for projects through our financing partners.
  • Ensure a clean transition of post-sale activity to other teams by delivering complete customer information.
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry trends by attending sales meetings, sales events, trainings, and industry events.
  • Engage in local, proactive lead generation activities.
 
Qualifications
  • In home sales experience preferred but not required.
  • Solar industry experience preferred but not required.
  • Must be able and willing to generate leads via referrals, canvassing, trade shows, community events, etc…
  • Possess the ability to work independently.
  • Have excellent communication, both written and verbal, skills.
  • Be willing to travel to clients’ homes (within 50 miles of HQ)
  • Have the ability to analyze numbers and convey their meaning to clients.
  • Be computer proficient (+CRM tool experience preferred).
  • Have reliable transportation and a current, valid driver’s license
  • Own a Smart phone, tablet, and/or laptop.
 
 Compensation
  • Base + Commission
  • Health Insurance
  • Mileage Reimbursement and company car after three months of hitting sales goals.

Electrician:

Qualifications:
Journeyman or Masters license for OH or KY (preferred)
2-4 years electrical or solar experience
 
Responsibilities: May include but are not limited to
  • Assess the plan-set to ensure proper installation 
  • Customer communication (going over the plan-set upon arrival)  
  • Customer communication (walking customer through the on/off process of how equipment works) 
  • Train and coach team members on electrical installation safety and technique. 
  • Ensuring the job site is neat and tidy before departure 
  • Commission system 
  • Mounting/hanging Inverters 
  • Mounting/hanging combiner panels 
  • Mounting/hanging of disconnect 
  • Point of Connection. Breaker or Line-side tap 
  • Installing Sola-decks on the roof 
  • Conduit runs 
  • Wire pull 
  • Attic flex runs 

PV Installer:

Qualifications:
Iron Ridge, Unirac or comparable certifications
1-3 years solar or roofing experience.
 
Responsibilities: May include but are not limited to
  • Assess job and plan-sets one to ensure proper installation
  • Train and coach team members on installation safety and technique 
  • Customer communication (going over the plan-set upon arrival)  
  • Customer communication (walking customer through the on/off process of how equipment works) 
  • Layout the roof (occasional redesign are needed once on site) 
  • Mounting optimizers or microinverters 
  • Find trusses and set footers 
  • Setting panels 
  • Cutting Rail 
  • Installation of Sola-decks 
  • Wire management 
  • Proper grounding and bonding 
  • Installing jumpers for multiple array jobs 
  • Place and wire junction boxes 
  • Running conduit drops and in between array runs
